Mikiyas is an experienced events producer, with a focus on sound and lighting production, artist and venue liaison and creative direction. He regularly hosts events, concerts and conferences for the Ethiopian and African diaspora communities, commercial clients such as Nova, and is the organiser behind iconic CBD venue Section 8’s ‘Simmer Town Takeover’ nights.
